This is Adam (Khanh), one of the riders and guides who has been with us for years. Like most of our team, he’s someone we know well and trust completely out on the road. We keep our groups limited because we want every guest riding with people we genuinely trust, not random last-minute staff. That’s also why tours often book out in advance.

Weather changes fast in Ha Giang, and cheap plastic ponchos don’t make long days on the bike any better. We provide reusable GIVI rain suits for all guests instead of single-use ponchos. It’s more comfortable for riders and creates far less waste. Some larger tour companies are estimated to use over 70,000 disposable ponchos each year.

Just like our helmets, we take protection gear seriously as well. All guests are provided with real arm and leg guards from Scoyco designed for actual riding protection and comfort on long days out on the road. A lot of tour companies offer extremely cheap protection sets that cost only a few dollars and provide very little real protection in a fall.

The premium tour has private rooms each night, one way vip bus ticket included, lots of extras for drinks and coffees and a group of 8 to 9 people.

Yes, we have had many happy vegans on the tour and other special diets. There are yummy options for everyone.

If you are not an experienced driver, we strongly advise against driving yourself. The Ha Giang Loop can be dangerous and unpredictable, with difficult road conditions, sharp mountain roads, traffic, weather changes, and inexperienced riders all sharing the road.
To legally self-drive in Vietnam, you must hold both:
• A valid International Driving Permit under the 1968 Convention with the motorcycle stamp
• Your matching motorcycle license from your home country -
The 3 day trip gives you enough time to see pretty much the entire Ha Giang Loop, but the schedule is more tight and you won’t have enough time to fully enjoy some of the best activities and stops along the way.
At the moment we offer 2 different itinerary options for our 4 day trips, which allow for a more relaxed pace and more time to experience the Loop properly. Please check out the itinerary page to learn more about the differences between each route.

Most things are included on the tour, but having some extra cash for drinks, snacks, souvenirs, or personal purchases along the way is definitely recommended.
Around 1,000,000 VND should be more than enough for most people during the trip.
